What should I bring?

Please bring swimwear (swimwear bottoms must be worn at all times), x2 towels (one to sit on in the sauna, one to dry off) and a bottle of drinking water. You will also need confirmation of your booking (eg. email confirmation). Flip flops, a dry robe and comfy clothes are recommended to allow a quick change.

Where can I find Great Glen Sauna?

Current location: Bridge of Oich – Head to the Bridge of Oich car park on the corner of the A82 (the one with the brown sign). Access the site on foot, via the metal gate at the back of the Bridge of Oich car park (no motor vehicles past this point please). Walk down the track a little and you will see us just on your right.

Are the facilities like onsite?

Part of our experience is to embrace the Scottish elements so we are limited in changing facilities. We recommend bringing comfy clothes to allow a quick change. Please note there are NO toilet facilities onsite. There are public toilets located in neighbouring villages.

Are children allowed in the sauna?

Under 16’s are allowed in the sauna during family and private sessions only, and need to be accompanied by a responsible adult (over 21yrs) at all times. A minimum ratio of 1 adult to 2 children is required.

No under 7 year olds allowed in the sauna.

Who should use the sauna?

Please read our T&Cs and contact your GP if you have any concerns.

How do I sauna?

Listen to your body. If you feel too hot, cool down, if you feel to cold, warm up. Take it slow and keep breathing. Our recommended experience is; Rinse (wash before getting in the sauna), Get hot (sauna for 5-15 mins), Get cold (have a plunge or embrace the Scottish air), Rest (allow your body to reach equilibrium) and Repeat

When should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 5 minutes before your session to allow time for a quick briefing and to get changed if needed. Although we recommend arriving changed and ready to go if possible.
